🌿🌿 What is Comfrey? 🌿🌿
Comfrey roots and leaves contain Allantoin, a substance that helps NEW skin cells grow. It is a flowering herb that also contains Rosmarinic Acid which helps relieve pain and inflammation.
Comfrey is also called boneset or knitbone. It has been used for many centuries by Ancient Greeks and Romans to aid in setting fractured bones. Army medics relied on Comfrey to treat wounds from Alexander the Great to World War I. Native Americans considered Comfrey a sacred healing plant.
Comfrey can help treat osteoarthritis, sprains, muscle strains, fractures, ligaments, swollen veins, gout, bruises, sore knees, and so much more.
Just apply a small amount of salve on the affected area and rub it into the skin.
Never use on open wounds. Pregnant and nursing moms should not use Comfrey until you seek medical advice.
I make my Comfrey Salve by first drying the comfrey leaves. I then infuse them in jojoba and almond oil. I take that infused oil and make a salve out of it with beeswax and shea butter. That's it, nothing else! It's all natural. 🌿🌿
